The Procrustean Petard by Marshak and Culbreath

It was a story in The New Voyages 2, very well-written like all their stuff, and is quite possibly the first genderbent story in the world.  And there's currently a review of it (including page scans) over on [livejournal.com profile] startrek_tos.

Oh, memory lane! Yay!!

I'm sure there were genderbenders in mythologies way before this...

But it certainly was the first story to get my full attention! :-D

[personal profile] telesilla has a typed version posted, too. :D

I adore that story! I disagree with the person who posted the scans, though - Kirk/Kang isn't icky, it's *adorable*. (Not that I object to Spock stepping in instead. *cough*)
