Hey, that's okay. It's actually not Ael-fic; it's (partly) about her niece, the one who (in original canon) got deceived by Kirk and Spock and disgraced. Ael appears, as does Tafv, and the niece (I'm using the non-Rihannsu name for her and shoving it into Rihannsu naming conventions) is the first officer for a real idiot commander who wants a war with the Federation. There are also Starfleet captains who want a war, so there's plotting and intrigue. And I know the plot and what has to happen, but the writing is the problem.
